Luke's first real bath

Last night, Luke had his first real bath. His baby bathtub is pretty big, but we put it in the bathtub and Emmett managed to squeeze in beside it, so they had a bath together.

Luke was asleep when we put him in the bath. It woke him up, of course, but he didn't complain or cry at all during the process! He looked a bit surprised, and seemed more interested in what was going on than anything else. Since the bath, his hair has been standing on end much more.

Emmett had a nice bath, too. He got more water and space after Luke was finished, and he liked that part of the bath better. I'm sure it'll be more fun together when Luke is bigger.

At the first week of their ski lessons, David dropped Emmett and Luke off at their classes.  Yesterday David was starting his class, though, so I took them to their classes.  There are a lot of classes that meet outside, so there are signs up for each class - the big kids meet by letters and the little kids meet by numbers.  Emmett is in class "I" and Luke is in class 11.  The alphabet signs were clearly visible as we approached, but the numbers were behind some trees so I turned to ask Luke which way we should go around them.  Emmett helpfully called out, "See those signs?  My class meets by the one with a single line on it!"  Um, thanks for describing the letter "I" in a way I can understand, Emmett!

Birthday Weekends: Highly recommended!!!!

Birthday Cake #1 came with a crazy candle from my sister Rebecca: The candle actually worked really well! No need to have a fire extinguisher standing by. ") The Anniversary Inn in Salt Lake City has fun themed rooms like this one, the Mysteries of Egypt Suite.  There's a shower head in the snake's mouth, and the tub fills with water that trickles down the rocks off to the side! (it's kind of slow) Rebecca and Andrea upgraded our room to a package that included robes and roses and lots of fun treats. We were very well fed! Birthday Cake #2 matches my headband. We played ring toss with glowing necklaces and my unicorn horn.  Karaoke friends.  Loot!!!
