Crossing the street

There are kids both next door and right across the street. Yesterday, we went out front so Emmett could ride his scooter with them. We've been working on crossing the street safely, and the distribution of kids out front led to lots of crossings. I sat in front of one neighbor's house, and Emmett did a good job of looking both ways and only making me a little nervous. (Not because he was doing anything unsafe, just because he was crossing the street by himself sometimes.)
