Halloween Night - DISCO INFERNO!!!!

I had the "Disco Inferno" idea ages ago, but obviously I started really implementing the plans yeseterday. I got it done!!! Here it is:

Here's the rest of what's going on for *actual* Halloween - the keen eyes will notice details on the skellys around the table playing poker, and that there are more wigs here and there. Otherwise it's a lot like what was up yesterday. Still, I've been working on it nonstop for a few days at least (again, sorry Henry!!!)

Frank here is my first animated prop, built with the Rocky Mountain Haunters at their annual Gathering in June the first time I attended. He's been a rock solid prop that either just works or has a simple fix each year. I'm the "head" of the Gathering next year - that means I'm herding the cats. Fingers crossed!

I love the way the folowing eyes work on this sign. <3

The Abyss is another Rocky Mountain Haunter prop (as are all the cool things in the yard).

This skelly with a seagull is a nod to a prop in Pirates of the Caribbean.

This skelly using a paddle of bones to get around is proof that even broken skellys can add to your haunt!

Skelvis remains a favorite of mine, and was the inspiration of the "skellys relaxing" scene in the yard.

A weathered crate and a "stow yer weapons" sign is another nod to the Pirates of the Caribbean.

These skellys have been carrying this chest for years. It was Henry's idea to open it and add bottles, so they're delivering booze to the party. I printed these bottles - some in glow-in-the-dark, some in translucent filament. There's a UV light underneath The effect is pretty good!

Always close to my heart, the ladder climbing skelly is awesome. Put together from some dowels and dollar store rope, he reminds me to just make the prop and stop worrying about all the tiny details.

This year the fog-bubble machine isn't blowing fog. BUT - I learned that kids mostly love the bubbles. I'll try to figure out how to fix it, but if I can't, a bubble machine is pretty awesome all by itseslf.

The hands at this table are totally sus. One is definitely cheating, the other has the "deadman's hand" that got Wild Bill Hickock killed in 1876. Luckily, none of these skellys has access to a weapon.
